Ain’t this what they’ve been waiting for? After a pair of diss tracks from Drake (“Charged Up” and “Back to Back”), Meek Mill finally retaliates with a record of his own called “Wanna Know.”
In between touring with Nicki Minaj, the Philly MC heads back in the studio and comes back breathing fire. He doesn’t hold back, taking shot after shot at Drake, who he accused of hiring a ghostwriter named Quentin Miller to write his rhymes.
Over the Jahlil Beats & Swizz Beatz production, Meek starts off by citing Drake’s beef with Chris Brown (“When that shit went down with Chris, you wrote a check”) and loops in Quentin Miller’s alleged reference track for “Know Yourself.”
He calls him “buttercup,” Milli Vanilli, and a “fraud” (“Spittin’ other ni**as’ shit, but you claim you king though?”) and questions who he stole his flow from (“Was it Quentin Miller, was it Hush, or was it Detail where you really got your flow?”).
And he shows he’s been reading the blogs, referencing Drake’s breakup with Rihanna (“You ain’t get your chick back yet”), his brawl with Diddy at a nightclub last year (“Puffy almost caught a domestic when he smacked that bitch”), and the rumor that Drake got peed on by T.I.’s friend at the Takers premiere.
“Real ni**as back in style / This shit is lit / This that Ja Rule shit and 50 Cent,” declares Meek.
Who had the better diss? Listen and weigh in below.
Drake reacted to Meek’s diss by posting an Instagram photo of himself laughing.

BRAND NEW MUSIC : WIZ KHALIFA FEAT. FALL OUT BOY – ‘STAYIN OUT ALL NIGHT (REMIX)’
4:28 AMGHWiz Khalifa is currently traveling the country with Fall Out Boy on their “Boys of Zummer” tour. Fittingly, the emo legends have just released a special remix to Wiz’ Blacc Hollywood single “Stayin Out All Night.” They smother the original in chugging guitars and add several towering melodies. For his part, the Taylor Gang chief sounds surprisingly at home on the song as a pop-punk heartthrob. 2003 never left.
The “Boys of Zummer” tour continues through Aug. 10. In between dates, Wiz has been in the studio working on his next project, Rolling Papers 2: The Weed Album.
Vic Mensa is getting ready to hit the road for his upcoming “Traffic” Tour, but before he does he’s got a new freestyle to share with the fans first titled “Heir To The Throne."
Paying homage to the bossman and his 2001 Rocafella freestyle on Hot 97, Vic decides hop on Biggie’s “Who Shot Ya?” instrumental and deliver an impressive, 5-minute lyrical onslaught that finds him spazzin' out hard on the mic. No hook, just straight bars & punchlines here fam and it sounds like the self proclaimed "Jimmy Page" had a lot to get off his chest.
Take a close listen and let us know what you think!

It's been a minute since we last heard from 21-year old female rapper Alus, but with her Alustrious II EP right around the corner, that all changes here today. To start the rollout process for the upcoming EP, the New Jersey native decides to come through and share the first single off it today titled “Talk It” featuring Dougie F.
Over some upbeat production from The Water Boyz, Alus delivers a provocative, club-friendly record that finds her crooning on the hook, "show me what that mouth do”, forcing any man that approaches her to not just talk about it, but be about it. Take a listen to the sultry single and look for its music video to follow up shortly.
Thoughts?
If “Charged Up” wasn’t enough to stir the pot, Drake decides to go “Back to Back” on us and deliver his second Meek Mill diss in the past week!
Picking up the tempo and bars, Drake takes aim at Meek once again, sending some not so subliminal shots at the MMG rapper this time around. Calling him out for his lack of response “I did another one, I did another one / You still ain’t did shit about the other one,” & "I waited four days nigga, where y'all at?", the OVO rapper had a lot to get off his chest.
Drake goes at Meek for his "trigger fingers" on twitter (Trigger fingers turn to Twitter fingers / You gettin’ bodied by a singin’ nigga), opening up for Nicki on her tour, and even predicts the two break up in the end "I don't wanna hear about this ever again/ Not even when she tell 'em that they better as friends".
He even addresses the ghostwriting controversy as well, spittin’ “This for ya’ll that think that I don’t write enough / They just mad ’cause I got the Midas touch.”
While we wait for Meek’s much-anticipated response now, let us know what you think of this one below!
Angel Haze is back and charged up. The boisterous rapper hasn’t released much new material since her 2013 debut Dirty Gold,
but she returns with “Impossible,” an anthem that’s as ferocious as
she’s known for being. Over a martial beat, produced by Tk Kayembe,
Haze raps her heart off.
“I just rose from the ashes again / Defeat all my obstacles / There is nothing that can hold me down, that shit is impossible,” she spits.

he Weeknd is on fire—literally—in his new video for “Can’t Feel My
Face.” The Canadian crooner has just debuted a video for his hit song,
which is already No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100.
In the Grant Singer-directed clip (“The Hills”), which premiered on Apple Music Connect, The Weeknd performs on stage at a dimly-lit club. Initially people are sitting down, unmoved by his Michael Jackson-esque moves. However, they start to perk up as he slides across the stage. Eventually someone throws a lighter at him and he bursts into flames, and a crowd joins him on stage. He leaves the club, emerging triumphant—a star is born.
His sophomore album Beauty Behind the Madness drops Aug. 28. “He has made one of the most sonically ambitious pop albums of the year, full of swaggeringly confident music indebted to the arena-size ambition of the 1980s, from Guns N’ Roses to Phil Collins to Michael Jackson,” declared The New York Times.

D∆WN is smelling like “Roses” on her latest song. It’s a sensual R&B jam, produced by Cronus, with a trippy mix of atmospheric percussion and pitch-shifted voices.
“All that I want from you, is to get rid of the blues / Even if it’s one night with you,” coos D∆WN.
PETA’s newest spokeswoman wrote the song with help from her fans using the live streaming app Periscope, hanging out with them over the Internet, and asking their advice about lyrics.
“Thank you hearts for vibin with me on @periscopeco and helping me write.. Gifts coming,” she tweeted.
D∆WN will release the conclusion of her album trilogy, Redemptionheart, in early 2016. The second installment, Blackheart, came out in January.

Watch Meek Mill feat. Nicki Minaj & Chris Brown – ‘All Eyes On You’ Music Video
11:59 AMGHAll eyes are on Meek Mill and Drake’s beef. But the Dreamchasers rapper turns the spotlight on his relationship with Nicki Minaj in the video for “All Eyes On You,” the first single off his chart-topping album Dreams Worth More Than Money. In the Benny Boom-directed clip, Meek and his boo show why they’re hip-hop’s hottest new couple, putting their love on display for the world to see.
The voluptuous vixen walks into the bathroom with only a towel wrapped around her before making out with her man. He carries her off into the bedroom with her legs wrapped around his waist. In the steamy scenes, she combs his hair, licks his ear, and they kiss in bed before riding Phunkee Ducks and taking a pic for the ‘Gram. They eventually hit the club and make it go crazy (we see you, Migos).
In between intimate shots of the couple, Chris Brown makes his cameo and Nicki flaunts her bikini body in the pool while sipping Myx Moscato, of course.
Watch Omeeka put it all out there.
Disclosure and Sam Smith have proved themselves to be some of the most effective musical collaborators of the last few years, evidenced by the smash success of 2012’s “Latch.” Now they reunite in the video for “Omen” off Disclosure’s sophomore album Caracal, due Sept. 25.
Filmed in Mexico City, the cinematic visuals depict a futuristic rave in a dystopian metropolis. The video’s lead, Mariela, has her palm scanned in front of an unassuming storefront. She’s transported into a gaudy, erotic world of sweaty make-outs and holographic projection.
Smith reclines against a pillar, singing the hook with an intense gaze. At the end of the clip, police gather outside—suddenly the discotheque goes dark, screams are heard, and “to be continued” flashes on screen.
The video is the second in a series that began with “Holding On,” directed by Ryan Holder.
As promised, Kanye West and director Steve McQueen debuted their music video for ‘All Day / I Feel Like That’ at the Los Angeles County Museum Of Art on Friday evening.
The premiere was more than just a screening as Kanye and Steve personally stopped by the venue and introduced the video to a very select audience comprising journalists and special invitees. Only about 120 people heard the duo speak on the concept of the video and why they decided to debut it at the museum.
The event was moderated by LACMA director Michael Govan where McQueen explained that he received a phone call out of the blue from Kanye a few years ago and then finally bumped into each other in London one day where they decided to work together. L.A. Times reports that Kanye told the crowd that he was a “bad celebrity, but a pretty good artist.”
Steve McQueen revealed to the audience that the video was shot in one continuous 9 minutes take. It was first premiered back in March in Paris.
Luckily for us, someone sneaked a camera in and shot the whole video which you can watch below.
In addition to his Meek Mill diss record “Charged Up,” Drake also dropped two other new tracks during Saturday’s OVO Sound Radio show.
On “Hotline Bling,” which he debuted during his barber’s wedding, he raps over a sample of D.R.A.M.’s hit “Cha Cha.” Drizzy shows a softer side as he sings to a special lady about late night calls on his cell phone. “I know when that hotline bling, that can only mean one thing.”
On “Right Hand,” he serenades his “go-to” chick. Over a bouncy West Coast-flavored beat, produced by Vinylz, he assures her that she won’t find anyone better. “Just know that these streets just don’t love you like I do…and they never will.”

Brand New Music New Music: Fetty Wap feat. Shy Glizzy – ‘Why U Mad?’
11:39 AMGHFetty Wap is one of the nation’s hottest rising stars, with several currently charting hits. Now the Zoo Gang president shares a collaboration with fellow XXL Freshman Shy Glizzy called “Why U Mad?” one of several songs he’s leaked over the last few weeks, including “1738” last week. His strategy seems to be “throw everything at the wall and see what sticks,” and as far as we’re concerned it’s working well.
“Why U Mad?” combines Glizzy’s gravelly baritone with Wap’s stratospheric yawp, over a hard-edged Zaytoven beat. It’s a unique connection no one saw coming, and it should please Fetty’s growing legion of fans while exposing a new side of his character.

Watch Janet Jackson feat. J. Cole – ‘No Sleeep’ Music Video
11:36 AMGH
Go deep. Janet Jackson is turning up the heat in the video for her
comeback single “No Sleeep.” The steamy clip, directed by Dave Meyers,
takes place on a rainy day in Janet’s plush home. Looking straight out
of the janet. era, the ageless superstar can be found inside, bundled up, while the rain falls down on her windowpane.
She makes her way through the house, stands in front of a childhood photo with her father, Joe Jackson, and warms up by the fireplace. After dancing up the staircase, she heads to the bedroom before meeting up with J. Cole.
“Cole World,” she says, while the Forest Hills Drive rapper—whose tour she just attended—appears on the couch beside her to spit his verse.
The J. Cole-assisted version of the song will appear on Janet’s as-yet-untitled 11th studio album, due in late September on her Rhythm Nation label via BMG.
“I hope u enjoy watching this as much as we enjoyed making it,” said Janet, while Cole tweeted, “No Sleeep. Classic!”
On Aug. 31, Janet will kick off the first leg of her “Unbreakable World Tour” in Vancouver.

Trae Tha Truth is a Houston powerhouse, with a career stretching back more than a decade. He’s one of the city’s elder statesmen, with a gravelly baritone and a penchant for keeping it real, no matter what.
On Friday, the Hustle Gang cohort will release his new album Tha Truth. If his career is any indication, expect weighty meditations on mortality and life on the streets.
The 16 tracks feature appearances from T.I., Jeremih, Ty Dolla $ign, Kid Ink, Rich Homie Quan, DeJ Loaf, and J. Cole, who guests on “Children of Men.” Over syrupy strings and an old-school R&B chorus, courtesy of Ink, Cole and Trae trade melancholy bars about regrets and friends lost to violence and suicide.

Frequent collaborators like Dom Kennedy, Ty Dolla $ign, The Game, Justine Skye, IamSu!, and TeeFLii all make appearances over Mustard’s stripped-down heat. New faces like RJ, Choice, and buzzing Vallejo MC Nef the Pharaoh also guest. Mustard has his ears to the streets, and he’s not afraid to give young artists a chance alongside heavyweights.

DeJ Loaf has a surprise for her fans with the release of her EP #AndSeeThatsTheThing, which hits iTunes tonight. With a stark black-and-white portrait as its cover, the project reflects her attempt at emotional honesty.
For help, she enlists Big Sean for the single “Back Up” and Future on a track called “Hey There” (via HHNM). Though the DS2 rapper’s recent rise has come in large part due to tough street posturing, let’s not forget that this is the same guy who rose to fame with beautiful, vulnerable love songs like “Honest” and “Astronaut Chick.”
His slurred melodies contrast with Loaf’s pure voice over an ethereal R&B production—”Paparazzi wasting time if they trying to catch us,” Future sings. It’s a romantic slow jam that wouldn’t sound out of place on anyone’s bedroom playlist.
London On Da Track has been behind many of Young Thug and Rich Homie Quan's recent hits, but he's also worked with some West Coast artists, providing the instrumental for Tyga's "Hookah" last summer. Today he links with yet another artist out of California, the always melodically-inclined Kid Ink.
"Imagine" sounds like a more restrained take on one of Young Thug's poppier numbers, reeling in the animation in the vocals for a more precise hook. We're hoping to hear more from these two in the future, and seeing that Ink is one of the few rappers who's released back-to-back studio albums in 2014 and 2015, we feel he'll be back with something new sooner than later.
Kehlani has become one of the year’s most buzzed-about artists following the release of her album You Should Be Here in April. Now the Oakland songstress taps Trey Songz for the remix to “The Way,” which originally featured Chance the Rapper. The R&B heartthrob sets off sparks as he duets with Kehlani on the sultry track.
Trigga praised his collaborator, tweeting, “Kehlani new wave tho!!!”
Kehlani is currently in the middle of her “You Should Be Here” tour, which has upcoming dates in L.A., San Francisco, Honolulu, and Las Vegas.

Brand New Music: Carnage feat. Lil Wayne, G-Eazy, & ILoveMakonnen – ‘I Like Tuh (Remix)’
1:54 PMGHWhen ILoveMakonnen first teamed up with Carnage on “I Like Tuh” back in February, we were surprised at how well the California DJ and OVO crooner merged.
Now Lil Wayne and G-Eazy have jumped on the remix, all but guaranteeing that you’ll hear it coming out of car speakers all summer long. Weezy’s verse is one of his better feature spots in a while—he sounds confident, mixing threats to his haters with cocky come-ons. He capably takes over a quiet section of the song with Auto-Tuned croons about having the “white girl twerking” before handing over the reigns to G-Eazy.
The Bay Area MC is as slick as ever, with a punchline-heavy verse—”I’m taking down her and her and her, ampersand.”
In the midst of Meek Mill’s Twitter tirade, his MMG boss Rick Ross rolls out a video for “Family Ties,” a cut off last year’s album Hood Billionaire.
In the Ryan Snyder-directed clip, which co-stars his rumored
girlfriend Lira Mercer, Rozay luxuriates in Milan, clad in fine white
furs and large rings, gazing out with a melancholy air over the city’s
gondolas and parks.
Women count euros and pour champagne while Ross tours churches, old cemeteries, and fields of tulips. We perceive the cinematic grandeur of an old Italian mafia don, eulogizing all his old comrades now dead or in jail. It’s lonely at the top.
Speaking of “Family Ties,” Rozay has come to Meek’s defense following his comments about Drake. “@MeekMill speaking facts!!!! Luv mynigga 4L,” he tweeted.
Ross is dealing with his own legal issues stemming from his June 24 arrest on charges of kidnapping, aggravated battery, and assault. Two weeks ago, he was released on $2 million bail after using his mansion as equity.
He is already working on his next album, the tentatively-titled Black Dollar.

Brand New Music : DJ Holiday Feat. Meek Mill, Future & T.I. - Flexin
1:43 PMGHDJ Holiday just dropped his unbelievably stacked God Bless The Mixtape, and although it's hard to pick a highlight, any track with Meek MIll, Future and T.I. on it should be deserving. This one's called "Flexin," and was produced by DJ Spinz and Dun Deal.
With a hook that's either delivered by a pitched-up Future, or someone who isn't credited on the track (more likely the latter), "Flexin" has verses from all three rap titans, whose respective styles end up making for quite an eclectic ride.
Fast and furious. Kid Ink pushes it to the limit in the video for “Faster” off his recent album Full Speed. The newly-engaged rapper hits the desert and races down the highway in a luxury whip, while rapping along to the DJ Dahi-produced anthem.
The song’s lyrical theme is very much evident here. Then, he goes to the club with his crew, and lets loose. He also performs in a trippy setting, as a hypnotic sea of hands sway in front of him.
On Aug. 25, the Batgang leader will hit the road with Chris Brown on his “One Hell of a Nite” tour.
Three years after announcing his debut Elephant Eyes, the world finally gets to hear what Dreamville rapper Omen has been cooking up. The 11-track album, which is available now, features appearances from his fellow Dreamville signee Bas and label boss J. Cole, who guests on “Things Change.”
Omen’s contemplative flow matches the gentle, stirring piano-led production, and Cole sounds right at home talking about past loves and breakups.

Joe Budden was a guest on HOT 97's Ebro in the Morning where he debuted this new single off All Love Lost. The rapper is promoting the upcoming album, which is due out on October 9th, however the majority of the HOT 97 interview is a debate about dogs(which is kinda funny); White people versus Black people as dog owners, dog etiquette and more. Nonetheless, they made sure to end the interview by plugging the LP. Joe Budden revealed that he's gotRoyce Da 5'9" on the album as well as production from ArabMUZIK, J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League, DJ Dahi and more. "This is the opposite spectrum of my last album, No Love Lost, which hardcore Joe Budden fans probably hated. Very light for them," Budden said. The new single is appropriately heavy then, and dark. You can cop it on iTunes now. You can catch Budden's interview with HOT 97 below.
Cluck cluck. Just days after liberating “Pacifier,” Mike WiLL Made-It leaks another track he produced for Young Thug called “I Need Chickens.” On the unfinished record, the ATLien drops gems like, “Ni**a so hot, he need a Fan-tasia” and “I’m super fly, like a bitch with a broom.”
Thugger plans to drop his mixtape Slime Season before his debut album Hy!£UN35, which has been marked for an Aug. 28 release.
Hot on the heels of Kendrick Lamar’s remix, T-Pain puts his Auto-Tuned spin on Jidenna’s hit “Classic Man” featuring his Nappy Boy artists Vantrease and Young Cash. In the accompanying video, the Tallahassee hitmaker pays homage to old school whips and shows off his stable of candy-painted cars including a Ford pickup truck and 1991 Ferrari.
The original song can be found on the upcoming EP Wondaland Presents: The Eephus, which drops Aug. 14.

The group, who is now managed by Scooter Braun (Justin Bieber, Ariana Grande), will release its first album since 2010’s The Beginning later this year.

After the disbanding of Danity Kane, former members Aubrey O’Day and Shannon Bex have formed a new dance-pop duo called dumblonde. Their self-titled debut is due Sept. 25, and is now available for pre-order on iTunes along with five tracks including “white lightning,” for which they debuted a music video. In the artsy black-and-white clip, the ladies flaunt their blonde ambition and showcase their new sound.
Aubrey and Shannon co-wrote and co-produced the album, which was inspired by dance and alternative acts including The Ting Tings and La Roux.

CeeLo Green is back. The soul crooner smiles through the pain on “Robin Williams,” the first single off his upcoming album Heart Blanche.
On the somber track, he names famous actors who have passed away
including Chris Farley, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Richard Pryor, and
Williams.
“We don’t know what the next man’s going through,” sings CeeLo. “Life reminds me of Robin Williams / We’ve got to laugh the pain away.”
“Each of those people I named were just a few of the artists that have served as comic relief giving me laughter throughout periods of my personal and professional life,” he told Mashable. “Being that I’m cut from that cloth, I realized that comedy is cathartic to both the audience and the author.”
Heart Blanche, his first album since his 2012 Christmas project CeeLo’s Magic Moment, is due this fall featuring contributions from Mark Ronson, Charlie Puth, Eg White, Wallpaper, and John Hill.
“The album is entitled Heart Blanche to imply that this record is a renaissance, and the variety are vital signs of a healthy heart,” said CeeLo, while his manager Larry Mestel called it “arguably the best piece of work he’s ever done.”

The saga continues. Birdman has filed suit against Jay Z for $50 million, and it’s all over Lil Wayne.
Cash Money Records is suing Jay Z’s streaming service TIDAL for streaming Lil Wayne’s album FWA. Cash Money claims it has exclusive rights to Wayne’s music and TIDAL is an illegal intermeddler.
In the lawsuit, obtained by TMZ, Cash Money calls out TIDAL for resorting to “a desperate and illegal attempt to save their struggling streaming service.”
TIDAL responds to the claim, saying that Cash Money does not have an exclusive lock on Weezy and that he gave it the right to stream his music, in return for an ownership stake in the company.
However, Cash Money begs to differ and cites its contract with Wayne, which specifically states Wayne does not have the power to license his music to anyone else.
Cash Money also takes shots at Wayne’s FWA, saying it got “tepid reviews” and could hurt Cash Money’s attempts to exploit Wayne’s music.
Just yesterday, Birdman was named in an indictment involving the April shooting of Lil Wayne’s tour buses. In January, Wayne filed suit against Birdman and Cash Money for $51 million.

Brand New Musics: Keri Hilson – ‘Scream’ And ‘100’ feat. Young Thug
11:43 AMGH
Miss Keri is back. Nearly five years since her last album No Boys Allowed, Keri Hilson returns with two new songs, the first teasers from her upcoming album.
On the breathy “Scream,” produced by Polow Da Don and Mansur, Keri gets down and dirty in the bedroom. The R&B temptress seduces her man on the sex-drenched jam before building up to the climax.
“Make me lose my breath, yeah do it … Make this shit a movie!” she demands.

“Make me lose my breath, yeah do it … Make this shit a movie!” she demands.
On the kiss-off anthem “100,” produced by Timbaland and Rock City, Miss Keri takes it from the sheets to the streets. She gets back at a cheating ex (“You wasn’t shit before I met ya”) and tells him to “keep it G.”
“Sometimes I feel you’re worse than a bitch / Why you be actin’ all scary?” she asks. “If you did it, you did it / Just say the shit / At least have the kahunas to tell me.”
Young Thug adds his signature squeaky ad libs and demands that his girl “keep it 100″ with him.
Keri’s third album is due in August featuring contributions from Chris Brown, Dr. Luke, Ester Dean, and more.
Bompton is back. After being shot multiple times, YG picks up the mic and returns with “Twist My Fingaz,” the first single off his upcoming sophomore album Still Krazy. On the Terrace Martin-produced banger, which samples George Clinton’s “One Nation Under a Groove,” the Compton rapper reps his West Coast roots and does his dance.
“I really got something to say, I’m the only one that made it out the West without Dre,” he declares. “I’m the only one that’s ’bout what he say, the only one that got hit and was walking the same day.”
“‘Twist My Fingaz’ is a statement record, letting everybody know I’m back and still krazy!” YG told The FADER.
He is working with DJ Mustard on the follow-up to his critically-acclaimed debut My Krazy Life, which is due later this year.
Get your C-walk on to his G-Funk groove.
On the eve of his album release, Future’s collaboration with Drake has hit the net. On the woozy “Where Ya At,” Future Hendrix questions the loyalty of others (“Where ya ass was at?”) who weren’t around before his success, while Drizzy flexes on his verse.
“I’m self-made, selfish with my women, self-employed / I’ll buy the neighbor’s house if they complain about the noise,” he boasts.
DS2 drops Friday featuring the singles “F*ck Up Some Commas,” “Real Sisters,” and “Blow a Bag.”
After teasing his new single, "Twist My Fingaz," YG has released a brand new record with Bone Thugz N Harmony legend, Krayzie Bone. The Brave Brothers-produced track builds on the rapper's established new school G-Funk sound, featuring a dirty bassline, set a little slower than your average West Coast radio record.
Krayzie Bone handles the hook, which turns out pretty damn catchy, reminding us of his lead single for My Krazy Life, "My Nigga," which had Rich Homie Quan belting over a similarly bouncy synth riff. Look out for YG's new single tomorrow, and hopefully, the album soon enough.
