Wale Reveals Third Cover for ‘The Album About Nothing’

With a week to go, Wale has unveiled
the third and final cover for his upcoming LP The Album About Nothing.
The follow-up to 2013’s The Gifted drops March 31 featuring the
Usher-assisted single “The Matrimony,” plus appearances from J. Cole,
SZA, and Jeremih.
The third cover shows the D.C. rapper alone in
the Tom’s Restaurant diner where “Seinfeld” was taped. He explained the
significance of the artwork.
This third cover was all my idea.
This is essentially what the album is to me, a moment of clarity and a
moment of expression. This cover is me staring blankly into nowhere.
Jerry [Seinfeld] is not there, he’s in my mind. This album is of Jerry
speaking as my conscious. The evil voice and the positive voice, he is
both of them. Maybe I’m talking to myself. Maybe I’ve lost my mind.
There lies a story. My story. And in a few days the world will know it.
Illuminate.
